Babies doing the funky squid move

My mum has now returned home after spending a few days helping me sort and clean the house, and fill the freezer, and from tomorrow I will be back to the joys of bad daytime tv although the new HD box will provide some amusement.
Babies have been very squidlike today, and both kicked the midwife lots whilst she listened to their heartbeats. They are both head down which leaves four little legs kicking around at the top (just where it shows) which led to some very odd looks in the GP surgery as my top squirmed and squiggled. She was very happy with them and their progress so next check up a week on Friday at the hospital if not appeared by then.
Current craving (which is my own fault) is Bez shortbread, of which the very kindly Bez gave me a huge supply on Friday, which they inspired me yesterday to half dip in dark chocolate. I have no words to express how good it tastes, and I suspect my maternity leave project may now become learning to make shortbread that tastes half as good. Bez, you has the skills! I am currently being kicked for not eating more shortbread (as am clearly not getting the squid message that more is required!)
Am getting too tired to get out and about much so it was lovely to see so many folks at the Friday night social, hope to see you all again soon, energy levels and small persons permitting!
