tallbint: (Thomas and Emily)

Thomas and Emily had their first dentist appointment today and the dentist didn't lose any fingers so I'm calling that a win!

Thomas did his first long distance commando style crawl today so additional stairgates now up. Emily is now pulling herself up on anything in sight and likes to stand and cruise along the edge of things so won't be long until our youngest is walking!

We are still waiting to see if T and E get chicken pox or not, I'm kind of hoping they do as wouldn't be able to scratch accuratly and would be over Easter so both of us on hand to deal with sadness...that said not risking visiting anyone with babies or bumplings just in case we pass on germs.

Project Thomas (emptying box room to turn into a bedroom for Thomas) is ongoing and slow progress but much helped by Micky and Annie baby wrangling support- in return we are helping sort their garden.

No other news, T and E very much a two man job out and about so not getting out much when just one of us,- they have a nasty habit of crawling off in different directions, no idea how people cope with triplets!

I think you're fine to visit me while baby is still on the inside!

How do people cope with triplets? Restraining devices, I'm guessing.

It is one of my regrets that I didn't make more of the (limited) maternity leave i had with just B - it's not until you have 2+ that you realise how easy one is - and TWINS!! No I have NO IDEA how you guys cope!!!!

*credits*! :D

Honestly, I miss sleep and quiet times, there was no sleeping when the baby sleeps as T and E never slept at the same time, and breastfeeding does not allow for much time to yourself even if there is only one.

That said, I wouldn't swop them for anything, and now they are more mobile they are sleeping better when not full of germs.

In a couple of weeks time when I don't have a million appointments any more, can I come visit and play with you and twins?

Think I've missed something - why might T&E have the pox?

The triplets we know from multiple birth group all came down with it the day after group, and most infectious the day before the spots come...as Thomas has started with a couple of spots we are putting money on it being the pox (still, better now then when they can scratch with good aim!)
